The
interim body of Brikama Sports Committee has appointed Modou Lamin Nyassi as
the head coach of Brikama United Football Club.
Nyassi
replayed Sulayman Kuyateh, who resigned after the end of the 2016-2017 Gambia
Football Federation domestic division one league season.
Nyassi
was assistant to Sulayman Kuyateh from 2012 to 2017, before his appointment as
the head coach of the Brikama-based football club.
Nyassi
is set to guide Brikama United Football Club to the 2017-2018 Gambia Football
Federation domestic division one league season.
It
would be recalled that Brikama United Football Club clinched the 2010-2011
Gambia Football Federation domestic division one league title after their
stunning performance in the league campaign under coach Essa Sambou.
The
Brikama-based football club also won the FF Cup of GFF in 2016 under coach
Sulayman Kuyateh following their 1-0 win over rivals Bombada in the final
played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
