The
2016 Gambia Football Federation FF champions, Brikama United, have started
bracing up for the 2017 CAF Confederations Cup campaign and the 2016-2017
domestic division one league season set to kick off on 19 November 2016.
The
Sateyba boys have embarked on preparations for the continent’s second tier
football club competition and the country’s top flight football season.
The
Sateyba boys are set to play series of friendly matches both local and
international to prepare themselves fit enough for the 2017 CAF Confederations
Cup and national domestic division one league season next month.
Brikama
United are expected to clash with Senegalese Premier League side Jaraaf in an
international friendly match to prepare themselves for the CAF Confederations
Cup as well as the country’s domestic division one league season.
It
would be recalled that Brikama United lost to Brufut zonal team 3-1 in a
warm-up match played at the Brufut Football Field on Wednesday, before drawing
goalless with Gunjur Zonal team at the Gunjur Nyamina Football Field on Friday.
