Brikama United have moved two points clear at the top of the 2010-211 Gambia Football Association division one league standings after a hard fought 1-0 victory over Bakau United in the week twenty fixtures played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on Wednesday.
Bully Drammeh’s 15th minute strike was enough for the current league leaders Brikama United to bag the maximum three points.
Elsewhere, Real De Banjul’s title ambition suffered a setback after a goalless draw against struggling Interior side in the other week twenty fixtures at the Banjul KG5 Mini-stadium the same day.
Brikama United are currently leading the league table with 40 points in twenty game with two games to go whilst Bakau United are 8th position on the league table with 21 points in twenty games.
Real De Banjul are 2nd position on the league standings with 38 points in twenty games, two points behind league leader Brikama United with two games to go, while Interior are 10th position on the league standings with 18 points in twenty games.
