The championship is expected to bring together four towns, namely the host Brikama, Barra, Essau and Gunjur, for the day-long event.
The championship is meant to groom, nurture, develop and promote athletes in the region and the country.
It would be recalled that Brikama clinched inter-towns athletics championship hosted in Gunjur after snatching 485 points.
The host Gunjur finished runners-up after scoring 377 points.
