Unicorns FC on Saturday 21st August 2010 defeated Ngoyan FC 3-0 in the Serrekunda West Sports Organisation (SWESO) Nawetaan, at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium.
Kebba Kebbeh opened the scoring for Unicons FC in the 10th minute from a sensible strike before Joseph Bass scored a brace in the 13th and 41st minutes of the game to seal the victory for his side.
Unicons FC now collected seven points in three games, while Ngoyan FC stands at four points.
Earlier on Friday 20th August 2010, Pencha Bi FC beat Old Hands FC 1-0 to bag seven points, while Old Hands FC are yet to collect a point in three encounters.
Speaking to reporters shortly after the game, the Assistant Coach of Unicons FC, Bai Ndongo Drammeh said their aim this year is to reach to the final and then expressed confidence that his team can win the Nawetaan.
Drammeh also revealed that they are preparing very well to beat Bundas FC in their next game.
He said when they drew their second game against Pencha Bi FC they worked very hard on their scoring ability, adding that it worked out well for them against Ngoyan FC.
Sheriff Njie, the Assistant Coach for Ngoyan FC said their poor performance was due to the Holy Month of Ramadan, adding that the goals they conceded were all defensive errors.
Njie also said that they are preparing for their next game against Pencha Bi FC.
