A British National, Trash Lawthard, on Monday 11th March 2013, donated learning materials to Gunjur Lower Basic School.
The donated items included books, markers, pens and other learning materials.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Headmaster of the School, Kebba Fatty, applauded the donor for the benevolence, adding that the donated items would go a long way towards attaining the goal of the school.
Mr. Fatty appealed to the donor to help them with laptops, as well as complement government’s efforts in the education sector.
Presenting the donated items to the beneficiaries, Trash Lawthard, the donor, said the gesture was part of his contributions towards the development of the school.
While concluding her speech, she said, she was proud to reach out to the school.
