The first opportunity of the game was created by Juventus FC when Sankung came close to giving his side the lead but his 32nd minute effort was denied by goalkeeper Amadou Jeng thus the first period ended goalless.
Upon resumption, Blue Star FC mounted heavy pressure on Juventus FC thus opening the scores through Kemo Bojang in the 57th minute when he capitalised on goalkeeper Mose’s punch to tap in an empty net.
Juventus fought back for an equalizer but could not break through the solid defence of Blue Star FC hence the game ended 1-nil in favour of Blue Star FC.
As winners, Blue Star FC went home with a giant trophy and cash prize of D15,000 whilst runners-up Juventus FC collected a consolation prize of D10,000.
Mam Ngorr Mboob of Blue Star FC was voted man of the match and rewarded with a jersey and a ball.
