Milan at the weekend thrashed Brufut United 3-1 in the week-six fixtures played
at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium to move away from relegation zone in the
2016-2017 Gambia Football Federation second division league.
The
Bakau-based outfit are languishing in the relegation zone in the second tier
before their resounding win over the Brufut-based outfit, who lost to Fortune
FC 1-0 in their last outing at the West Coast Region biggest football arena.

Milan were able to materialize their limited goal-scoring opportunities after
netting three goals to move away from the danger zone on the league table.
Brufut
United managed to notch in one goal, which eventually proved to be a
consolation goal for Sanimentereng boys.
The
victory was BK Milan’s first-ever win since the commencement of the country’s
second tier last month.
The
defeat was Brufut United’s successive defeat. They are now five points behind
league leaders Red Hawks.
Elsewhere,
Blue Star snatched their first point in the second tier following their
goalless draw with Fortune FC at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on the same
day.
