Battle for WCR 3rd league title survival set for today

Battle for the 2014-2015 West Coast Regional third division league title survival is set for today, Tuesday 2 June 2015.

Jambanjelly United (2013-2014 West Coast Regional third division league champions), Brufut United and Sifoe United are competing for the league title.

Brufut United and Jambanjelly United are first and second places in the league with each 38 points in twenty-one games, but Brufut United are league leaders on goal difference with one more game to go.

Sifoe United are third place in the league with 35 points in twenty-one games whilst Gunjur United were booted out of the title race following their 2-0 defeat to Sanchaba Sulay Jobe Football Academy in their rescheduled fixtures played at the Gunjur Nyamina football field last month.

Foni Berefet United and M.L. Dertusa are occupying second place from bottom and bottom place in the league with 14 points each in twenty-one games. They are hoping to win their final fixtures in order to remain in the league.

As part of week twenty-one fixtures, today 2 June 2015, Brufut United will host Jambanjelly United at the Brufut football field.

Brufut United are currently leading the West Coast Regional third division league with 38 points in twenty-one games and will be striving for a win against Jambanjelly United to clinch West Coast Regional third division league title and gain automatic promotion to the second division.

Jambajelly United are second spot in the West Coast Regional third division league with 38 points in twenty-one games and will be contesting for a victory against Brufut United to retain their West Coast Regional third division league crown as well as gain automatic promotion to the second division.

Nema Youths will welcome Sifoe United at the Dembadou Mini Stadium in Sukuta. The Sukuta-based outfit are mid-table and will be playing for pride.

Sifoe United are third place in the West Coast Regional third division league with 35 points in twenty-one games. They will be fighting for a win against the Sukuta-based outfit and hope Brufut United and Jambanjelly United slip in their final games and finish second place in the league.

On Wednesday 3 June 2015, Gunjur United will play against Busumbala at the Gunjur Nyamina football field. Both clubs will be playing for pride.
