The
Banjul Nawettan season is in its climax as they scheduled the date for the
Canon-Sponsored League tournament final between FC Warrior and Late Ebou Sowe
(Heart of Banjul) this Friday 27th October, at the Banjul KG5 Mini-stadium.
Late
Ebou Sowe, commonly called Heart of Banjul, have booked their place to the
final after defeating Ajax 1-0 in the semifinal encounter played the KG5
Mini-stadium on Saturday.
Defender
Ousainou Trawally’s 41st minute header was enough to send the Late Ebrima Sowe
to the 2019 Banjul Nawettan League Final after a wonderful cross from Modou
Kebbeh.
While
FC warriors also booked their place in the final after beating Jamesen FC 4-2
on post-match penalty shootout following a goalless draw in the regulation time
played on Tuesday.
Both
teams will be preparing very well to be crown champions of the league
tournament on Friday 27th October, 2019.
Both
teams (FC Warriors and Late Ebou Sowe) are into the quarterfinals of the Bayba
Financial-sponsored Banjul Knockout as they are to face Jamesen and MacDonald
on Thursday and Friday respectively.
