Gambian
international Bakery Jatta has became the third Gambian player to play in the
Germany Bundersliga after Dawda Bah and Ousman Manneh.
Former
Hawks midfielder Dawda Bah was the first Gambian player to play in the
Bundersliga after signing for Augsburg FC before injury led to his departure
from the Bundersliga club.
Former
Steve Biko talisman Ousman Manneh, alias Mamanding, was the second Gambian
player to play in the Bundersliga for Werder Bremen after Dawda Bah.
Bakery
Jatta was the third Gambian player to play in the Bundersliga for SV Hamburg
after Ousman Manneh, alias Mamanding.
The
18-year-old Jatta made his debut for SV Hamburg in their pre-season encounter
with Aljazeera last season.
Jatta
scored the third goal for the Bundersliga side against the Asian side as part
of preparations for the 2016-2017 league season.
Jatta
replaced Kostic seven minutes before full-time in SV Hamburg’s final
Bundersliga fixture against Wolfsburg.
