Accompanied by second vice president Ebou Faye, Mr Bajo flew out of Banjul to Windhoek, Namibia, for a CAF meeting coinciding with the finals of the current African Women’s Nations Cup taking place in the southern African nation.
During this first meeting with CAF officials after his election, Mr Bajo is expected to be introduced to the CAF family.
In turn, Bajo will thank CAF for the immense support the continental body has given to The Gambia, notably the lifting of the two-year suspension on The Gambia.
