The particulars of offence in count one stated that, the accused, Lamin Touray, on 30 July2014, at Sukuta village, in Kombo North District, West Coast Region, allegedly assaulted one Chemako Ndure, with a bottle on his head thereby causing her actual bodily harm.
Count two stated that on the same month, year and at the same place, he entered into the compound of one Chemako Ndure, with intent to intimidate, insult and annoy him, thereby committed an offence.
The prosecutor applied that the accused person’s bail be revoked on the grounds that the accused was not a first-time offender, because he was convicted shortly before Koriteh feast by the Bundung Magistrate Court, and was given a suspended sentence.
He said after one week he committed another offence.
The prosecuting officer 3466 B Sawaneh further submitted that the accused was a threat to the society and the neighbour at Sukuta.
He said for the interest of justice, the accused should be confined at one place until the hearing and determination of the case.
The prosecution’s application was upheld and the accused’s bail was revoked and he was subsequently remanded in custody.
