The particulars of offence read that the accused, Lamin Bah, on 28 September 2011, at Busumbala Village, in the West Coast Region, beat one Fatou Marena on her face, thereby causing her actual bodily harm.
He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D10,000 with two Gambian sureties.
