Assane Ndaye, a Senegambian mbalax star, is expected to land in The Gambia tomorrow, Saturday 28th March 2009.
His highly talked about group will accompany him to come treat party-people in The Gambia.
In a brief chat with Entertainment last Wednesday at Jokor Westfield, Mr.Pa Jeng, the manager of Jokor, revealed that the agile good-looking artist would be performing live on Saturday 28th March 2009 at Jokor Westfield.
And on the 29th March the same concert will be repeated at Brikama Jokor. The Brikama Sports Committee proudly organizes Assane Ndaye's visits to the country.
The Jokor manager said that Jokor is not preoccupied with the tourism sector, adding that Jokor is established for the local people.
According to him, Jokor is a nightclub with so much to enjoy and normally operates from Wednesday to Sunday, excluding Fridays. He revealed Jokor, has a number of exciting events such as promoting Gambian musicians and other important programmes, adding that Jokor is a club that operates all through the year, not operating only during the rainy season.
"We are in economic crisis but with my best staff and good management, we are working very hard towards that," he said. He added that its only Youssou Ndour that Jokor cannot host and that is due to his security reasons.
"My objective is to bring Gambian artists together to help them to bring Gambian music up," he said.
