One Alasan Jagne was yesterday arraigned at the Kanifing Magistrates' Court before Magistrate Fatou Lilli Drammeh, charged with assault causing actual bodily harm.
According to the particulars of offence on 28th November 2009 at Pipeline, in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused Alasan Jagne unlawfully assaulted one Modou Lamin Halifa by kicking his legs, and as a result caused fracture on his left leg.
Meanwhile, the accused was granted a court bail in the sum of D2500 with two Gambian sureties.
The accused who pleaded guilty had his case adjourned to 24th March 2010 for judgement.
