Armed Forces on Sunday extend their lead in the 2008-09 GFA division league following their narrow 1-0 victory over telecommunications boys, Gamtel FC in week sixteen at the Brikama Mini Stadium.

The telecommunications boys made a terrific came back and have created dead clear chances but they are unable to break Armed Forces defence line and the game ended 1-0 in favour.
Armed Forces have 31 points from fifteen games and have a game in hand and Gamtel are fifth in the table with 21 points from sixteen games.
