Cultural diversity is an essential issue that needs to be fully understood by all and sundry.
People from different countries, faiths, tribes and so on have their various ways of cultural practices.
It is therefore important that people respect each other’s culture and try to build mutual understanding in order to live in peace and harmony. Issues such as stereotypes have no room in this 21st century, thus the need for tolerance and respect.
We believe that it is only through dialogue and understanding that we can make the best out of our different cultural diversities.
No one should see himself or herself as more superior than others, irrespective of anything, since all human beings are equal in the eyes of Allah.
Wealth, position in society and appreciation of one’s cultural values are equally important, but these should not make anyone feel better than others.
We encourage people to respect each other’s culture and to preserve best cultural practices in our society.
Similarly, we also urge people to do away with bad cultural practices that have proven to be inimical to their wellbeing and overall development.
We must also try to adjust to good cultures that can help us improve our livelihood and make us connect to the rest of the word.
