Another weekend of League One Action Ahead

Feb 27, 2009, 5:50 AM

As action resumes in the G.F.A league, Real de Banjul need to get the points because the season is not young anymore. Real are a force to be reckoned with but are not proving that pedigree as of now, having played two games with only one point to show. They are playing the Academy Boys, Samger, on the 28th February 2009 at Brikama at 4.30pm.

Gamtel will play a difficult game with Tallinding United at the Manjai Mini Stadium at 4.30pm on Saturday 28th February 2009. Gamtel F.C will be playing without their midfield maestro Kaba Jobe.

The Cellular Boys, whose coach has vowed to change tactics, will face the less fluent Seaview on Saturday 28th February 2009 at Serrekunda East Mini Stadium at 4.30pm.

The Khaki Boys, Armed Forces, who need to put in more hard work to capitalise on the force of their fresh legs, will play Hawks who are content with four points from two matches. This Game kicks off on 1st of March 2009 at Serrekunda East at 4.30pm.

The champions Wallidan, who are not yet playing at their peak, will lock horns with Bakau United on Sunday 1st March 2009 at the Manjai Mini Stadium at 4. 30pm. Bakau United were heavily criticised for their two red cards against their local rivals.

The giant killers can rely on their striker Assan Jatta, alias Bieroff, and veteran mid- fielder Matarr Sarr against Brikama United on Sunday 1st March 2009. The game will be played on the artificial turf in Brikama
