One Cherno Jallow has started a legal battle against the Local Government and Lands Ministry, the Attorney General's Chambers, and one Momodou Jamageh over a piece land situated in Yundum, Kombo North, Western Region.
The matter is expected to continue at the Brikama High Court on the 8th of June 2009.
Mr. Jallow is seeking an injunction restraining Mr Jamageh, whether by his agents, servants or otherwise from interfering with the said piece of land at Old Yundum.
He is also seeking a court order for the leasing, serial number K 526\007 granted to Mr. Jamageh by the second defendant, Local Government and Lands, over a portion of the said land be cancelled and a declaration that he is the rightful owner of the said land.
He is also seeking damages for trespass from Mr. Jamageh.
