Ambassador Manneh presents letters of credence to Liberian president

Ebrima Manneh, ambassador of the Republic of The Gambia to the Republic of Liberia presents his letters of credence to His Excellency Mr. George Manneh Weah, president of the Republic of Liberia.

Ambassador Manneh presented his letters of credence by which the head of state, His Excellency Adama Barrow, President of the Republic of The Gambia appointed him as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Republic of Liberia.

“I am personally gratified by my present  appointment to serve in this beautiful country because my presence here conjures some pleasant memories of my frequent visitsI made here as a young diplomat  when I was  first secretary and consul in The Gambia Embassy in Dakar,” he expressed.

He added, at that time he was also accredited to Liberia. “It had always been a pleasure then to visit this beautiful country of Liberia  and he has no doubt that his tour of duty this time would be equally rewarding.”

“The foreign policy of The Gambia includes dialogue and peaceful resolution of conflicts affecting our sub-region and the world at large,” he disclosed.

“The world which we live in today is witnessing accelerated advances in science and technology affecting all facets of human endeavour and as sister countries located within the same sub-region,” he added.
