Amadou Sanyang's Toronto FC beat CD Motagua 1-0 in Wednesday' home leg of their CONCACAF Champions League preliminary round match-up on Wednesday.

The score line should have been far more flattering for the hosts, but an inability to convert solid chances into goals leaves Toronto with a slim one goal advantage over Motagua, with the return tie to be played on August 4th in Honduras, according to the club's website.

Chad Barrent hammered home a hard drive to give Major League Soccer side, Toronto FC, a 1-0 lead.

TFC should have doubled its lead in the 36th, with White once again taking a pass from Maksim.

Sanna Nyassi's Seattle sounders will play host to Isidro Metapan tonight in the CONCACAF Champions League preliminaries.
