A man accused of stealing a wrist watch and a mobile phone was recently arraigned at the Bundung Magistrates’ Court.
According to the particulars of offence, Jereka Jallow on 1 January 2012, at Tabokoto, entered into the dwelling house of one Saidou Bah and stole therein a wrist watch valued at D150 and a mobile phone valued at D1,500, being the property of the said Saidou Bah.
When the charge was read and explained to him, he denied it and asked for an adjournment because he needed the service of a lawyer.

Meanwhile, the accused was granted bail of D2, 000 with a Gambian surety, who shall deposit a national ID card with the court.
