Alleged robbers arraigned

Two men were recently arraigned at the Special Criminal Court in Banjul charged with two counts of conspiracy and robbery.

According to the particulars of offence on count one, Muhamed Camara and Bubacarr Drammeh on 14 May 2012, at Sukuta Nema, in Kombo North District of the West Coast Region, allegedly robbed one Alimatou Jallow of her mobile phone and cash of D1, 000, while they were armed with weapons.

The particulars of offence on count two stated that the accused persons, Muhamed Camara and Bubacarr Drammeh, on 14 May 2012, at Sukuta Nema, in Kombo North District of the West Coast Region, conspired to rob one Alimatou Jallow while they were armed.

They denied the charges before the case was adjourned.
