Following his plea of not guilty, one Kebba Ceesay was on Monday 7thDecember 2009 remanded in custody by Principal Magistrate Emmanuel of the Brikama Magistrates' Court for alleged defilement of an under-aged girl.
The Police Prosecutor, Superintendent Samateh applied for the case to be adjourned on the grounds that the case file was sent to the Attorney-General Chambers for legal advice.
According to the particulars of offence, on 23rd November 2009, at Brikama, the accused unlawfully had canal knowledge of an under-aged girl .
The case was adjourned to 31stDecember 2009
