The Bundung Magistrates' Court, presided over by senior Magistrate Abdoulie Mbacke recently heard an accident case brought against one Abie Joof, a resident of Tallinding.
According to the particulars of offence on count 1, the accused Abie Joof, on 1st March 2008, along Tallinding Highway, drove a motor vehicle with a registration number BJL 0948, a private car in a rash and negligent manner, and thereby caused an accident.
Count 2 revealed that on 1st March 2008, along Tallinding Highway, the accused, Abie Joof drove a motor vehicle without due care and attention, and thereby caused an accident.
Count 3 stated that at the same place and date, the accused drove a vehicle with a registration number BJL 0948 without a valid licence.
The accused, who pleaded not guilty to all the charges was granted a court bail in the sum of D10, 000, with a Gambian surety.
The case was adjourned to 29 April 2010 for hearing.
