The case of housebreaking involving Lamin Njie and Ousman Njie proceeded recently at the Bundung Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Fredrick Foster.
Testifying for the prosecution, Antou Camara told the court that the two accused persons came into their compound at night, when it was dark, and went straight to the house of his brother Mustapha Saine.
He said they broke the padlock of the complainant and entered the house, but nothing was missing
He added that he could not tell what the accused used to break the padlock.
He told the court that he arrested the accused and slapped one of them and later took them to the Bundung Police Station, adding that the police visited the scene and confirmed that the padlock was broken.
