Pa Waka Jobe, retired Director of Operations at Banjul International Airport, recently continued his testimony in the alleged false information trial involving Borry J. Saidy, former General Manager at Banjul International Airport, at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court before principal magistrate Isatou Janneh.

When the case was called, the witness was asked whether he could recall the last adjournment date when he was asked to produce some documents before the court, and he answered in the positive.

The witness then produced the documents and the prosecution applied to tender them, and they were admitted without any objection from the accused person.

The witness further told the court that after being acting Director of Operations at the airport, he was later promoted as the Director of Operations on 1 February 2008.

The case was then adjourned until 18 April 2016, for cross-examination.
