A man called Abdoulie Njie was Monday arraigned before
Magistrate Abeke of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with shop
breaking.
He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D500,000 with two Gambian sureties, one of whom must deposit a title deed and an affidavit of means.
The case was then adjourned till 22 April 2013, for hearing
The particulars of offence stated that the accused, Abdoulie Njie, on 22 March 2013, at Bakau New Town, in the Kanifing Municipality, broke and stole from the shop of one Amadou Jallow, the following: one TV marked sharp valued at D1, 200, one DVD marked Samsung valued at D1, 500 and cash amount of D400, the property of the said Amadou Jallow.
