Alleged assault case continues

The assault causing actual bodily harm case involving one Sally Sanyang, Monday continued at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court with the testimony of the first prosecution witness

Continuing her testimony, Mama Jabang told the court that when she was stabbed several times on different parts of her body, she was seriously injured and the matter was reported to Siffoe Police Station.

She said she was later taken to Gunjur Hospital and was later referred to the Brikama Health Centre and then to the RVTH where she was admitted for six days.

She further revealed that when she went back home she was not even recovered when her husband threw her out of the compound.

At that juncture, the case was adjourned till 28 March 2012.
