All eyes are set on the 2017 Berewuleng Football Club-sponsored Kombo South district football tournament final between Farato and Batokunku on Sunday 30 July 2017, at the Sanyang Football Field at 4.30pm.
Farato
booked their place in the Kombo South district football tournament final for
the second time following their shootout win over Tanji, after their goalless
draw in the regulation time in the semifinal.
The
Farato village team will be targeting to beat Batokunku in the final on Sunday
to land their second Kombo South district football tournament crown after
clinching their first-ever Kombo South district football tournament title in
2008.
The
then final ended in a penalty shootout win over Kartong, after their 1-1 draw
in the regulation time in the final played at the Gunjur Upper Basic School
football field.
Batokunku
advanced to the Kombo South district football tournament final for the first
time in their history following their penalty shootout victory over Jambur,
after their goalless draw in the regular time in the semifinal.
The
Batokunku village team will also brawl to defeat Farato in the final on Sunday
to secure their first-ever Kombo South district football tournament title in
their debut appearance in the district biggest football tournament final.
