Star Janneh was called to the Gambia National team following his eye-catching performance for Wallidan in the country’s top flight before leaving for USA in the early 90s for studies.
Star Janneh was part of the Gambia’s squad that thrashed Mauritania 3-0 in an international friendly match played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau in 1987.
