The Gambian joined Alazani FC from FC Mark Star for an undisclosed fee.
According to Marong, Alazani signed him on 15 March 2015 for the rest of the current league season. He said he is glad to join Alazani FC.
Marong helped FC Mark Star to clinch the Georgian FA Cup title, and also finish runners-up in the league with just one point behind the league leaders last season.
Marong featured in seven league games and score a couple of vital goals for FC Mark Star, before his departure to Alazani.
