Alagie Nyassi, head coach of Tallinding United, has said their aim is to win all their remaining games of the second division league but added that they are not underrating any team in the league.

Nyassi was speaking to reporters when he made these remarks shortly after his side 1-0 win over Latrikunda United in the week thirteen fixtures of the Gambia Football Association second division league game at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium on Sunday.

He said their game against Latrikunda United was very difficult and that they expect to play more difficult games as the league progresses.

Nyassi added that the victory against Latrikunda United would help them in their fight for promotion to the first division league because the gap between them and the league leaders "is just two points".

He noted that they prepared very well for the game and also worked on their previous mistakes, which earned them the victory.

Their aim is to stop all teams that beat them in the first round, Nyassi said, adding that they hope to play well in their next game and to be victorious at the end of the day.

Mustapha Jammeh, head coach of Latrikunda United, said they lost honourably to Tallinding United, adding that his team was able to possess the ball for 85 minutes but could only end up conceding a long range shot out of the area.

When asked whether there is chance of Latrikunda United gaining promotion to the first division league this season, he said: "The promotion to the first division league is slipping on our hands but we will still fight for it and if we cannot gain promotion we will look for a better position. We will then go back and prepare well to maintain consistency."
