Amsterdam boys Ajax FC on Saturday beat Santos-based outfit Bambaba FC 1-0 in the 2015 Kundemba Clinic football tournament opening game played at the Gunjur football field.
Both sides made an astonishing start to the game, and launched goal-scoring opportunities, but the Amsterdam boys carried the victory after scoring a brilliant goal to snatch the vital three points.
The Bambaba FC responded for an equalizer, but to no avail and the game ended 1-0 in favour of Ajax FC.
The victory has earn has Ajax FC top spot in their group with maximum 3 points in one game, following their hard fought win over Bambaba FC in the opening game.
Bambaba FC are currently languishing at the bottom in their group with zero points in one game, and are hoping to recover in their upcoming games to boost their hopes of qualifying for the next season.
The kick off was taken by the Sulay Sambou of Kundembo Clinic.
The tournament was organized by Kundembo Sports Committee to promote, nurture and groom young talents in Gunjur and environs.
