He assured them of his office’s support at all times.

The sensitization aimed at strengthening the credit union’s activities, he said, whilst informing the region to select delegate for the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled to take place in April.

Over the years, he said, the credit union has accumulated over 2 million dalasi and has provided loan to its members to enhance their social and economic status.

The credit union, according to him, contributes to poverty reduction and boosts staff ability to undertake meaningful development projects.

Modou Lamin Drammeh of the credit union spoke on the need for an increase in membership.

The holding of AGMs, he noted, is aimed at promoting good governance and transparency.
