The Africell sponsored Easter Extravaganza Golf Competition is expected to kick-off at the Fajara Golf Course on Friday 2nd April, and will run up to Monday 5th April 2010.
Speaking to Alan Collins, the Chairman of the Fajara Club on Tuesday at the Fajara Club said he went to Africell and asked them "if they would want to sponsor a big Golf tournament and they agreed." He noted that this is the largest competition the club has ever had and the biggest prizes so far.
He also thanked Africell for their support towards the development of sports in the country.
Alan also said that this Easter is given a big concentration, especially Golf, adding that the club has eighteen holes Golf course with a total number of over 450 members of many nationalities.
He said that Friday would be the teaching on children on Golf by the professional Golfers, adding that about 500 children are expected to be taught on the day.
On Saturday morning 3rd April, the professional Golfers will play, while the Amateurs will play in the evening and also play on Sunday 4th April.
The Caddies will play on Monday morning 5th April, while the 8 Professional Golfers will also play with the best 8 Amateurs Golfers on Monday evening, at the Fajara Golf Course.

There would be a tennis competition for both junior and senior players on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Alan Collins also said that their will be various prizes for the winners of different categories like the caddies, Amateurs and Professional Golfers, such as cash prizes, trophies, mobile phones, sim cards, credit and other Africell promotions.
