Actions are set to resume in the 2015-2016 Gambia Football Federation domestic division one league today, Wednesday 20 April 2016, after the completion of the 2015-2016 FF Cup sixteen ties.
As part of week-seventeen fixtures, Bombada will host run-away league leaders Gambia Ports Authority at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.
Bombada are two places above safety with 17 points in sixteen league matches, and will be firm for revenge after losing to Gambia Ports Authority in the first round to improve their position in the league.
Gambia Ports Authority are topping the league with 33 points in sixteen league matches four points ahead of second-place Brikama United.
They will therefore stand their ground to beat Bombada to rejuvenate their lead in the summit.
Elsewhere, Banjul United will welcome Hawks in the all-Banjul derby fixtures at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium on the same day.
Banjul United are languishing second place from bottom with 13 points in sixteen league matches, and are ambitious to defeat Hawks to move away from the danger zone.
Hawks are among the teams contending for the league title with 23 points in sixteen league matches, and they hope to beat Banjul United to fancy their league title ambitions alive.
