Borry J. Saidy, the acting Air Traffic Service Manager at Banjul International Airport, recently appeared before Principal Magistrate Hilary Abeke of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court, charged with giving false information to a public officer.
According to the particulars of offence, the accused, Borry J. Saidy, on 27 November 2014 at the Banjul International Airport in the West Coast Region and diverse places, while serving as acting Air Traffic Services Manager, wrote to the President of the Republic of The Gambia, claiming an unfair treatment among others, which he knew or believed to be false, and thereby committed an offense.
He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D200, 000 with a Gambian surety.
