According to the facts of the case as narrated by the police prosecutor, Sub-Inspector Jammeh, it happened on 27th January 2010, at around 23; 00hrs when the officers on duty at the Banjul International Airport control tower heard a noise in the control tower.
He said the officers then conducted a search and subsequently saw the accused, whom they questioned but could not give a reasonable answer.
