According to the facts narrated by the Police Prosecutor, Abdoulie Jammeh, the complainant Foday Jatta had installed two solar panels, marked 36wax and 60wax.
He said on 8th August 2009, the complainant woke up in the morning and found that his solar panels were missing.
He noted that the complainant immediately reported the matter at the Wellingara Police Station, and that investigation was conducted leading to the arrest of the accused. He added that when the accused was arrested he confessed stealing the solar panels, leading to its recovery.
The convict Baboucarr Mboge made a solemn and passionate plea of mitigation for the court to temper justice with mercy.
