Berewuleng FC drew 2-2 with Amasa FC recently in the ongoing Brikama Nawettan championship. Both teams played wonderful football and created numerous scoring opportunities in front of each other's goalmouth in the first minutes of game, but Berewuleng FC who were determined and hungry for a goal opened the score sheet through Ousman Jallow in the 36th minutes of the first half, by capitalising on a defensive blunder.
Lamin Jaiteh doubled the score line for Berewuleng FC in the 41st minutes of the game, after a superb pass from fellow team mate player Buba Faye, to give his side a 2-0 advantage before the break, and the first half end 2-0 in favour of Berewuleng FC.
Action resumed in the second half of the match, Amasa FC reorganised themselves and came with full force to the game. In the seventh minutes, Malang Badjie reduced the scoreline for his side by capitalisng on a scrambling before Ebrima Bojang came with an qualiser in the 85th minutes of the game after a pass from player Famara Sonko. The match ended 2-2 draw.
Speaking to the Pointsport the Head Coach for Berewuleng FC, Omar Gaye revealed that the game marked the second match for both teams, ending 2 points each.
Head Coach Gaye further expressed optimism that his team would qualify to the quarter-final stage of the championship.
