5-month-old baby needs help

Ousman Samureh, a five-month-old baby in Farato village in Kombo South, West Coast Region, is seeking financial support from the government, the private sector, philanthropists, donors, NGOs, companies and individuals to undergo overseas medical treatment.

According to Samureh’s medical report from the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH) dated 10 November 2010, Ousman Samureh is suffering from congenital deformity of the bones of both limbs and dislocation of the hip, which cannot be treated in The Gambia.

The report therefore recommends that Ousman should be taken abroad for appropriate medical treatment.
