Mustapha Sanyang, Haddy Sanneh, Lamin D. Bojang and Lamin Kujabi were recently arraigned before Magistrate Hilary Abdeke of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court charged with conspiracy to commit a felony, and stealing from a dwelling house.
Meanwhile, the accused persons who all pleaded not guilty to the charges were granted court bail in the sum of D100,000 each with Gambian sureties.
According to the charge sheet, on count one on 23 September 2010 at Gambia Electrical Company Limited along
Count two stated that on the same date and place, the accused persons jointly stole from one Olivia the following: 650, 000 CFA and 26,200 CFA of total value in Gambian money D64, 162 being the property of the said Olivia.
The case was adjourned to 12 October 2010 for continuation.
