May 13, 2015, 12:40 PM | Article By: Alieu Jobe

Musa Saidy, a two-year-old boy suffering from congenital heart defect, is in need of urgent help to undergo medical operation overseas.

Doctors have certified that the boy’s operation requires surgical repair to ensure he can grow to his full potential and lead a normal and healthy life.

Such operations are done by specialised cardiology or cardiothoracic surgery clinics or specialists which are not available in The Gambia.

His medical report was said to be issued by Dr Suzanne Anderson, MRCPCH PHD, head of clinical services.

Therefore, the boy’s parents are pleading with the government, organisations, institutions, NGOs and individuals and to come to their aid to enable them to take the lad for the required medical operation overseas.

The boy’s parents, Alhagie Saidy and Haddy Jarju, can be reached on phone through the following numbers: 6860708 / 7860008 / 6360582 / 7421128.
