1-year-old boy seeks support for overseas treatment

One-year-old Abdourahman Fatty, residing in Tallinding, in the Kanifing Municipality, is seeking support from the government, the private sector, donors, philanthropists, parastatals, companies and individuals to come to his aid to undergo medical treatment abroad.

According to the medical report issued by Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital in Banjul on 22 April 2014, Abdurrahman Fatty sustained some burns in the left arm which developed into flexions and contracted the last finger of the left hand with difficulty to open. This could not be treated in the country and he needed to undergo medical treatment abroad.

Yankuba Fatty, father of Abdourahman, said his son is supposed to undergo medical treatment overseas but due to financial constraints he is unable to get that done.

Fatty is therefore appealing to the government, the private sector, parastatals, philanthropists, donors, companies and individuals to aid him to take his son abroad for treatment.
