“How beautiful on the mountain are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” (Isaiah 52:7)
God, in Creation, made a host of things for His glory – the vast oceans, the mountains, the valleys, the great expanse of forests and the immense canopy of clouds; yet none of them can acknowledge, nor praise Him. Christians have the privilege of bringing the good news of forgiveness and salvation to the world, to assure the world that people can be forgiven their sins and be reconciled with their Maker, God, through Christ.
The essence of the message is that God has reconciled with humanity through the shed blood of His Son, Jesus Christ. No one should be ignorant of such a provision.
Apostle Paul echoes this in his epistle to the Romans. “How, then, can they call on the One they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent?” (Romans 10:14-15)
We are called to broadcast peace and spread the good news of salvation to the world. It is a gift that cannot be earned. It is free of charge. We must declare audibly, fearlessly and confidently the good news of what Jesus Christ has done for humanity as a whole. It behoves us as Christians, and as firm believers in Jesus Christ, to continue to publish the good news to the world. All must be saved! None should be left behind!
