Team Hilarious to drop ‘Book of Tribes’ to discourage tribalism

Team Hilarious Gambia, a performance and comedy group, is anticipated to release a brand new film titled Book of tribes’

The movie is an English movie by Team and Ultimate Media Gambia. It is produced and directed by Sabz, with the official trailer already generating over 3,000 views on YouTube.

Centred on themes such as discrimination, love, cruelty, sacrifice, hatred and revenge, the movie is aimed to be utilised as a campaign tool to discourage tribalism and inequality in The Gambia, which has been ravaging the country and now among the major menace, especially in the country’s politics.

Episode one of the movie will be released on the 31st of March, according to one of the founding members, Albert Camara, who goes by the alias Tapha Mandela.

Being the top art student of his badge and eventually bagging the top art student award of his former school, St. Augustine’s High School, Tapha is currently one of the country’s most brilliant, if not the top, educative and Pan-African comedians.

Creative and adept in making people laugh and entertained whilst learning and perceiving, Mr Mandela, as he is fondly called, has pioneered and led his team into one of the country’s top groups in the already-competitive comedy domain.
