Youssoupha Sanyang chooses Gambia over Senegal

International youngster Youssoupha Sanyang has chosen The Gambia over Senegal.

Sanyang, a Gambian prodigy, represented Senegal at U-20 level before making a twist to his native land.

Coach Jonathan McKinstry, who has expressed confidence in Sanyang, decided to call up the talented player to join his squad prior to the Scorpions international friendly match against Senegal on 31st March 2026.

Sanyang, who was playing for Senegal U20, will add more depth to The Gambia senior national team for their international friendly match against Senegal.
