Wrestler Tapha Tine of Tallinding Mbollo has claimed his long-awaited revenue over Boy Bala after beating down Jabang-based wrestler, Boy Bala during a wrestling bout organized by Champions Sound Promotion and held at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium on Sunday.

Tapha Tine won the grand “Combat” fight flag named after Talib Ahmed Bensouda, Mayor of Kanifing Municipal Council (KMC).

Boy Bala of Jabang started on the front foot from the referee's first whistle, throwing some half-hearted punches while trying to force Tapha Tine into making an error.

But Tapha, who is twice the size of Bala was determined not to lose for the second time in a row.

As the bout was heading for the half-time break, Boy Bala kept pushing for the victory, but Tapha Tine repealed all his attempts. With 9:45 on the clock, Tapha Tine finally performed a double leg tackle on Boy Bala, wrestling him to the ground before running half the length of the ground in jubilation.

Meanwhile, the win turns out to be a perfect and memorable evening for the Tallinding based wrestler following his long-awaited revenge against Boy Bala.
